The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that three deaths 734 new cases of the coronavirus and 526 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health reported in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 3 deaths were recorded in the West Bank for a male 90-year-old from Asira al-Shamaliyah in Nablus a female 79-year-old citizen from Doha in Bethlehem and another female 92 from Tulkarem.
She added that the new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil (54) Nablus (132) Bethlehem (50) Qalqilya (7) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (41) Jenin (42) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (9) Salfit (5) Tulkarem (36) Tubas (5) the Gaza Strip (281) the suburbs of Jerusalem (20) and Jerusalem (52).
Kailah said that 350 recoveries were recorded in the West Bank as follows: al-Khalil 133 Jenin 46 Nablus 101 Tulkarem 43 Qalqilya 7 Salfit 14 and Tubas 6 in addition to 130 recovery cases in the Gaza Strip and 46 in Jerusalem.
The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 87.87 percent while the rate of active infections reached 11.28 percent and the death rate was 0.85% of all infections the minister elaborated.
Kailah pointed out that there are 36 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 8 who have been placed on ventilators.
