Settlers steal harvest tools from olive grove in Nablus

Thursday 29-October-2020

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Wednesday stole equipment used for picking olives from trees in a grove in Jalud village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that settlers from the illegal outpost of Ahiya stole three ladders 13 harvest sheets and pruning saws from an olive grove belonging to farmer Mahmoud Fawzi.

In recent weeks Israeli settlers — with the help of the Israeli occupation army — started to sabotage the Palestinian olive harvest season through destroying and burning olive trees or stealing crops.

Jewish settlers repeatedly attack Palestinian-owned agricultural lands and property in the West Bank where there are over 200 illegal settlements and dozens of small outposts.

Incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank.
