Jewish settlers on Thursday swamped Palestinian olive groves and swaths of cultivated lands with sewage and waste water in the village of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources in the village settlers from the illegal settlement of Eli opened sewage drains and flooded agricultural swaths of land mostly planted with olive trees.
Palestinian owners of agricultural lands across the West Bank have been incurring heavy financial losses for long years because of such practices by Jewish settlers.
In a separate incident a horde of settlers on the same day put iron nails on the road leading to al-Karm al-Gharbi area in Qaryut village to sabotage passing Palestinian vehicles and obstruct their movement.
