Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health in Ramallah announced on Wednesday that 6 deaths 569 new infections of coronavirus and 562 recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours.
She stated in a press release that all the six deaths were from the West Bank provinces.
435 of the new infections were recorded in the West Bank while 70 of which were in Jerusalem and 134 in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister indicated that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 88 percent while the rate of active infections reached 11.2 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all cases.
387 of the new cases were recorded in the West Bank while 82 in Jerusalem and 93 in the Gaza Strip.
Kailah pointed out that there are 34 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 5 who have been placed on ventilators.
She explained that the total number of the infections registered by the Ministry of Health reached 60164 of whom 52962 recovered while the number of deaths reached 498.
