63rd Palestinian dies of siege in Gaza

Monday 7-January-2008

GAZA (PIC)– A 65-year-old Palestinian citizen on Sunday night died of kidney failure in Khan Younis south of the Gaza Strip after his relatives could not secure him a permit to travel abroad for treatment.

Medical sources said that Mohammed Al-Farra was blocked from traveling abroad by the IOF troops that are tightly sealing off the entire Strip.

IOF soldiers block travel of Palestinian patients outside the Strip and prevent the entry of medication into the besieged Strip.

Hundreds of seriously ill Palestinians in Gaza are threatened with death due to inadequate medical treatment and the inability to seek proper treatment outside the Strip.
