A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Saturday morning destroyed dozens of trees in a Palestinian olive grove in Qaryut village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that settlers chopped off about 30 olive trees in an agricultural area of Qaryut adding that the grove belongs to a local farmer called Bilal Raja.
In recent weeks Israeli settlers — with the help of the Israeli occupation army — started to sabotage the Palestinian olive harvest season through destroying and burning olive trees or stealing crops.
Jewish settlers repeatedly attack Palestinian-owned agricultural lands and property in the West Bank where there are over 200 illegal settlements and dozens of small outposts.
Incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank.
