The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah reported on Friday one death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) while 397 new cases were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry stated that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 87.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 11.6 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all cases.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 35 Nablus 35 Bethlehem 34 Qalqilya 18 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 36 Jenin 20 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 24 Tubas 5 Tulkarem 43 Gaza Strip 74 Jerusalem and its suburbs 73.
The Minister indicated that there are 41 critically-ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 6 who have been placed on ventilators.
