GAZA (PIC)– The Palestinian energy authority in Gaza on Sunday revealed that the Israeli occupation authority had reduced quantities of fuel to the authority which caused more power outages in various Gaza districts.
Kenaan Obaid deputy chairman of the authority said in a press release that the IOA was currently supplying the Strip with 250000 liters of fuel daily while the sole power station in Gaza needs 450000 liters of fuel daily.
The Gaza electricity company had announced that power supply to various areas of the district would be interrupted for eight hours respectively due to the shortage in fuel.
