IOF kidnaps several Palestinians in overnight campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday kidnaped several Palestinian citizens mostly during campaigns in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF stormed the refugee camps of Jalazon and Qaddura and the village of Beit Liqya in Ramallah province and kidnaped four young men from their homes.

In Qalqilya the IOF stormed Kafr Qaddum town and kidnaped a young man identified as Mohamed Shetaiwi from his home.

In Tulkarem three young men were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Tulkarem refugee camp and Attil town.

The IOF also stormed Zububa village in western Jenin and clashed with local youths. No arrests have been reported.

Another young man called Khalil al-Sheikh was taken prisoner during a campaign in Marah Rabah village in southern Bethlehem.

In al-Khalil a citizen called Mohamed Masalmah received a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet during an IOF campaign in Beit Awwa town.

In Jerusalem Israeli police forces kidnaped a young man identified as Mohamed Adwan after ransacking his home in al-Eizariya town.

IOF kidnaps several Palestinians in overnight campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Thursday stormed different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens.

According to local sources in Jerusalem police forces kidnaped photographer Mohamed Qarout after ransacking his home in Issawiya district and confiscating cameras and other things belonging to him.

A teenager called Muntaser Sabta was also kidnaped by police forces from his home in Issawiya.

Meanwhile border police forces stormed Biddu town northwest of Jerusalem where they set up a checkpoint and obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens.

The police also stormed Abu Dis town in eastern Jerusalem and raided a house in Abu Hussein neighborhood.

In the West Bank Israeli soldiers aboard military vehicles broke into al-Ma’ajeen neighborhood in the western area of Nablus city and fired volleys of stun grenades on its streets with no known reason.

The IOF also stormed Burin town in southern Nablus and kidnaped a citizen called Mohamed Madhar. Sounds of explosions were heard during the IOF campaign in the town.

Another citizen identified as Mohamed Ammar was kidnaped from his home during an IOF campaign in Asira ash-Shamaliya town north of Nablus.

In a separate incident a horde of Jewish settlers hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles near Za’atara checkpoint in southern Nablus and caused material damage to some of them.

In Tubas city the IOF detained a local young man called Abdullah Atyani after opening fire at his legs. There are no further details available about the incident.

Another young man identified as Imad at-Taweel was taken prisoner after soldiers broke into and ransacked his house in Jenin city.

Five others were kidnaped by the IOF during overnight campaigns in different areas of Tulkarem and Ramallah.
