Israel Hayom a Hebrew newspaper reported on Friday that the so-called Israeli Supreme Council for Planning and Building will meet next Sunday to approve the construction of 5400 settlement units in the West Bank.
Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu has informed concerned officials with his approval for the construction of thousands of settler homes in the occupied West Bank according to the Hebrew newspaper.
The newspaper stated that half of the housing units will be built in the Beitar Illit settlement south of Jerusalem while the rest of the units will be built in other settlements including Har Bracha Einav Shema Eileh Adam and others.
