The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday that 3 deaths 545 new infections with the coronavirus and 435 recoveries had been recorded in the past 24 hours.
Mai Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health stated in the daily epidemiological report of COVID-19 that the recovery rate from coronavirus reached 82.4 percent while the rate of active cases reached 16.9 percent and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
Kailah indicated that 3 deaths were recorded for a 60-year-old woman from Bethlehem another woman 78 from Yatta and a man 68 from Beit Ummar. They were all suffering from chronic diseases.
The new cases were distributed according to the following: 335 in the northern provinces 109 in the southern provinces and 101 in Jerusalem.
The recovery cases were recorded as follows: 257 in the northern provinces 110 in the southern provinces and 68 in Jerusalem.
The minister added that the new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (67) Nablus (15) Bethlehem (55) Qalqilya (13) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (43) Jenin (58) and Tubas (1) Jericho and Al Aghwar (20) Salfit (1) Tulkarem (47) the Gaza Strip (109) the suburbs of Jerusalem (15) and Jerusalem City (101).
The new cases of recovery were recorded in: al-Khalil (54) Jenin (13) Nablus (27) Tulkarem (94) Qalqilya (29) Jericho and Al Aghwar (34) Tubas (6) Gaza Strip (110) and Jerusalem (68).
Kailah indicated that there are 53 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 14 who have been placed on ventilators.
