Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian minister of health announced on Monday that 10 deaths 503 new infections with coronavirus and 1665 recoveries had been recorded in the past 24 hours.
The minister stated in the daily epidemiological report of COVID-19 that the recovery rate from coronavirus reached 79.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 20 percent and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
She indicated that the new deaths were recorded for two men from Nasiriyah and Albathan in Nablus a male citizen from Jenin a female citizen from Anza another female from Qalqilya a male citizen from Bethlehem another male from Qarawat Bani Zaid in Ramallah and Al-Bireh in addition to one death from Qatana in Jerusalem district and two deaths from Jerusalem City.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (68) Nablus (67) Bethlehem (50) Qalqilya (12) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (43) Jenin (19) and Salfit (8) Jericho and Al Aghwar (29) Tulkarem (66) Tubas (1) the Gaza Strip (35) the suburbs of Jerusalem (20) and Jerusalem (85).
The recovery cases were recorded in: al-Khalil (164) Jenin (30) Qalqilya (34) Tulkarem (59) Salfit (15) Nablus (89) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (275) Bethlehem (213) Jericho and Al Aghwar (128) Gaza Strip (145) and Jerusalem (513).
Kailah indicated that there are 44 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 11 who have been placed on ventilators.
