RAMALLAH (PIC)– IOF troops on Friday afternoon wounded 12 Palestinians in villages around Ramallah while confronting two separate demonstrations.
Palestinians from villages west of Ramallah organised a demonstration to protest the closure by the occupation authority of the Ramallah- Latrun road to Palestinian traffic. Many local Palestinians and international activists participated in the demonstration.
The IOF troops fired rubber coated bullets at the demonstrators wounding eight of them and used truncheons on demonstrators badly bruising a number of them.
Four others were wounded in the weekly Bilin demonstration against the apartheid wall when IOF troops fired rubber coated bullets at the demonstrators.
The IOF troops also fired teargas canisters at the demonstrators as they tried to reach the apartheid wall which is being built on land belonging to the villagers causing many cases of suffocation amongst them.
