The Ministry of Health in Ramallah on Sunday reported 9 new deaths 620 new infections with coronavirus and 1491 recoveries after conducting 3898 examinations during the last 24 hours.
The ministry stated that the rate of recovery from coronavirus reached 76.7 percent while the rate of active cases is 22.6 percent and the death rate is 0.7% of total cases.
According to the ministry’s daily report the new infections were distributed to 170 infections in Jerusalem (in two days) 384 in the Occupied West Bank and 66 cases in the Gaza Strip.
The recovery cases were recorded in: Jerusalem 127 West Bank 1249 and the Gaza Strip 115.
The new COVID-19 victims were distributed to 3 deaths in Jerusalem 6 in the West Bank and 2 in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry indicated that there are 44 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 14 who have been placed on ventilators.
