The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday demolished a Palestinian-owned house under construction and rainwater collection wells in Beit Awwa town southwest of al-Khalil.
Beit Awwa mayor Abdul-Kareem Masalma said that the IOF knocked down an unfinished house belonging Mufeed Abu Zanouna in Khilat Taha area of the town claiming it was built with no permit.
He added that the IOF also demolished two wells used for collecting rainwater in the same area.
Recently the IOF notified local residents of its intent to demolish three homes belonging to them in the area.
