RAMALLAH (PIC)– Riyadh Al-Maliki the information minister in the unconstitutional Salam Fayyad government has unveiled that the PA security apparatuses managed to foil a martyrdom operation for the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas intended against the Israeli occupation.
Maliki boasted in a press conference held Monday in Ramallah about the success of the PA security apparatuses in arresting resistance fighters who were preparing for the operation as well as the one who was planning to blow himself up adding that they seized a videotape prepared by the fighters for broadcasting after the operation was executed.
The minister repeated his claims that the backdrop of killing two Israeli soldiers of the elite units in the Israeli army in the Beit Kahel area in Al-Khalil district was criminal. The observers considered these claims a serious decline in the level of ethics and in dealing with the families of Palestinian martyrs.
The minister also boasted that the PA security apparatus achieved a major security success in Beit Kahel; whereas the Israeli security apparatuses failed saying that the PA security apparatuses succeeded in arresting the fighters in a short period of time despite the fact that the incident occurred in an area under the Israeli security control.
In the same context Abu Obeida the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades strongly denounced Maliki for boasting about the arrest of one of its fighters and for describing him as a “suicide bomber” considering that the security coordination between the PA security apparatuses and Israel puts the national issue in a very serious juncture.
