Israel has offered help against the Coronavirus spread in Gaza Strip in return for a halt to the launching of incendiary balloons from the besieged enclave the Israeli channel 13 claimed on Friday evening.
It added that the offer was sent to Hamas the de facto ruler of Gaza via mediators.
In a related development the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Settlement Process Nikolay Mladenov announced that the situation in and around Gaza Strip is deteriorating rapidly.
Mladenov said “Under the current circumstances mediation efforts between the two parties to prevent escalation and improve the situation in Gaza cannot succeed.”
