Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on Wednesday ordered the demolition of a number of Palestinian structures and the confiscation of vast tracts of privately-owned land in different West Bank areas.
Local sources reported that the IOA ordered the confiscation of 15 dunums of Palestinian land in Rafat village in the West Bank district of Salfit.
Hasib Ayyash head of Rafat’s village council said that the targeted lands belong to the Palestinian citizens Mar’i Ayyash Nashit Ayyash and Mahmoud Osba.
Meanwhile the IOA issued an order for the demolition of 36 Palestinian facilities in Farasin town between the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem.
Local sources said that IOA crews accompanied by armed forces stormed the town and distributed stop-work and demolition orders against a number of residential buildings agricultural facilities water wells and other structures.
