The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Monday bulldozed new swaths of Palestinian land in Burqin town in Salfit province.
Burqin mayor Marwan Abdul-Rahman said that Israeli bulldozers razed swaths of land belonging to local residents in the northern area of the town in order to set up a wastewater pipeline for Jewish settlers in the illegal settlement of Bruchin.
According to Palestinian statistics the IOA had bulldozed over 1100 dunums of Palestinian agricultural land in the West Bank and Jerusalem during the first half of the current year.
