Israeli warplanes at dawn Saturday bombed different areas of the Gaza Strip causing widespread panic among local residents.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that an Israeli warplane targeted a resistance site with multiple missiles in the area between Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis south of Gaza.
The airstrike caused a power outage in this area and damage to some Palestinian homes near the site.
Another aerial attack targeted an agricultural plot of land in the east of Deir al-Balah while an artillery projectile destroyed an observation post belonging to the Palestinian resistance in the east of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army claimed the airstrikes were launched after two rockets were fired from Gaza and landed in open areas in southern Israel.
