Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday detained a number of Palestinian shepherds after chasing them in Um al-Qubba area in the northern Jordan Valley.
Palestinian human rights activist Aref Daraghma said that the IOF attacked a group of shepherds while they were working in Um al-Qubba and detained a number of them.
Um al-Qubba is one of 17 communities that form the Jordan Valley’s Um al-Maleh area which is part of the Israeli government’s annexation plan.
Thousands of dunums of Um al-Qubba’s Palestinian-owned land have been seized and transferred into military bases closed zones and nature reserves by the Israeli occupation.
