The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday evening assaulted Palestinian citizens and arrested a young man in Bab Hitta area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Police forces also stormed Issawiya district and kidnaped an elderly man called Mohamed Dirweeh from his home.
Four journalists from Jerusalem reportedly received summonses for interrogation from the Israeli journalists. They were identified as Ashraf Shuwaiki Ahmed Jaradat Murad Sa’eid and Ahmed Jalajel.
In Tulkarem Israeli soldiers kidnaped a Palestinian girl called Duaa Arafa a resident of Izbat Shufa town at the Za’atara crossing.
Meanwhile Israeli forces on the same day kidnaped a Palestinian young man at the Hashmonaim crossing near the illegal settlement of Modi’in Ilit northwest of Ramallah claiming he tried to carry out a stabbing attack.
The forces claimed the young man arrived aboard his car at the crossing left it and then walked towards them in order to carry out a stabbing attack.
Many Palestinian citizens had been either arrested or shot dead at the crossing of Hashmonaim settlement which was built illegally on Palestinian land seized from Ni’lin town in Ramallah.
