Palestinian lawmaker Husni al-Burini has warned that Israel’s violations and suppressive practices in Jerusalem and the West Bank will trigger a Palestinian popular uprising at any moment calling for national unity to respond to Israeli plots.
In press remarks Burini said that the Israeli occupation state already started to annex the West Bank on the ground and did not stop its settlement activities even when there were peace talks.
He affirmed that Israel’s repressive measures are aimed at emptying the Palestinian land of its local residents and rightful owners.
“Maybe the Palestinian people are encountering difficult and unstable conditions and there is obvious failure and reluctance by the Arab world but we are still confident that the Palestinian people will stand up to these conspiracies and the plan to annex the West Bank” the lawmaker said.
