Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Friday said that normalizing relations with the Israeli occupation is a “sin” and an “unforgivable crime”.
In a speech he delivered at a virtual Arab forum Haneyya said that normalization fuels Israeli terrorism against the Palestinians.
Haneyya said that the Arab world will remain the number one supporter for the Palestinians and their struggle against the Israeli occupation despite all thinly-veiled normalization attempts in the fields of politics media economy sports and culture recently.
The Hamas leader called for enacting laws that criminalize all forms of normalization with Israel as well as raising awareness among Arabs and Muslims about the Palestinian cause.
Haneyya in his speech saluted all Arabs who fell martyrs while fighting against Israeli gangs to defend the usurped land of Palestine.
“We are certain that our cause is just and the end of the occupation is near” he stressed.
