The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and the West Bank province of al-Khalil.
According to local sources Israeli police forces stormed At-Tur town in east Jerusalem and kidnaped a young man identified as Omar Abu Ghannam after raiding several homes.
Police forces also raided some homes in Obeid neighborhood of Issawiya district in Jerusalem and kidnaped another young man called Ahmed Mahmoud.
Local sources said that the police forces intensively and randomly fired tear gas canisters during their campaign in Obeid neighborhood without stating if this happened during clashes with local youths.
Meanwhile the Israeli police financially penalized a group of Palestinian young men who performed nighttime Taraweeh prayers on al-Mujahedeen Road near the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
The police also forced the young men to leave the area although they showed keenness on following anti-coronavirus measures as they performed the prayers.
In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped two young men identified as Tareq Fatafita and Kayed Fatafita after ransacking their homes in Tarqumiyah town.
