The Islamic Jihad Movement has warned of Israel’s attempts to exploit the world’s preoccupation with the coronavirus pandemic and the successive developments in the international arena in order to impose more faits accomplis in Occupied Jerusalem and more restrictions on its people.
“The enemy is undoubtedly taking advantage of the current circumstances to escalate its arbitrary measures and restrictions against the people of Jerusalem who are always at the forefront of confronting the Zionist attacks against their city and its holy Mosque” senior Islamic Jihad official Mohamed al-Hindi said in a press release on Monday.
Hindi called on the Palestinian Authority to work diligently and responsibly to strengthen the Jerusalemites’ steadfastness on their land.
