The Popular Committee Against the Siege has reiterated the need to lift the inhumane Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip in order to help it prevent any potential outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic among the residents.
In a statement on Friday MP Jamal al-Khudari head of the committee also called for lifting the Israeli-American embargo on UNRWA and urged other donor countries to fulfill their financial commitments towards the refugee agency to help the Palestinians face the global virus.
“Despite its capabilities the world cannot face corona let alone Gaza that has been under siege for 13 years” Khudari said calling for taking action to help Gaza urgently.
