The Palestinian Authority (PA) preventive security forces have kidnaped a Palestinian teacher in Tarqumiyah town northwest of al-Khalil.
According to the detainee’s family teacher Asaad Kabbajeh was kidnaped from his home in the presence of his children with no reason.
A family source said that officers from the PA preventive security pretended to be employees from the health ministry in order to enter the house and arrest Kabbajeh.
The source added that the security forces opened fire in the air after Kabbajeh’s children cried and screamed when they saw their father being subdued and taken away.
Dozens of Palestinian citizens are being detained illegally in PA jails because of their political affiliations or opinions.
