Dozens of Jewish settlers last Sunday night savagely attacked a number of Palestinian shepherds as well as their cattle and property in Mughayyir village northeast of Ramallah city.
According to local sources dozens of settlers assaulted several stockmen in the eastern area of the village with clubs causing five of them to suffer fractures and bruises.
Three of the villagers were badly injured and rushed to Palestine Hospital for medical assistance.
The Israeli occupation forces who set up a military checkpoint on the same day at the main entrance to the village did not intervene and made it hard for local residents to take the victims to hospital.
The West Bank village of al-Mughayyir is encircled by four illegal settlement outposts and an army base.
