The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last Tuesday brutally assaulted a Palestinian citizen suffering from a kidney problem before kidnaping him from his home in Beit Fajjar town south of Bethlehem.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs the IOF violently stormed the house of 21-year-old Mohamed Taqateqa and physically assaulted him.
The soldiers embarked on hitting him hard in his stomach and back with their fists and rifle butts although they already know that he suffers from a serious health problem in his kidneys a statement released by the Commission said.
They then hauled him in handcuffs to the Etzion detention center and locked him up under harsh conditions with no regard for his health suffering before transferring him to Ofer jail.
A court hearing will be held for him on Thursday to extend his detention. The reason for his arrest is still unknown.
