The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Tuesday issued demolition orders against two Palestinian houses in Tura al Gharbiya town to the southwest of the West Bank city of Jenin.
Secretary of the town’s municipal council Jawad Qubbaha reported that the two Palestinian citizens Ahmad Qubaha and Aziz al-Kilani received notices ordering the eviction of their houses in four days as a prelude to the demolition.
Qubbaha underlined that the demolition orders were issued under the pretext that the houses are built in the Area C of the West Bank which is administered by the IOA without permit and due to their proximity to the separation wall.
He underlined that the demolition would result in displacing more than ten Palestinian citizens mostly children.
He added that the IOA issued demolition orders against eight houses in the Tura al Gharbiya town in recent months affirming that the houses are 200 meters away from the separation wall.
