A horde of armed Jewish settlers on Saturday night violently assaulted a West Bank family who lives in Jabel al-Rahma neighborhood in central al-Khalil.
According to eyewitnesses armed settlers from the illegal outpost of Ramat Yishai assaulted the Palestinian family near a military checkpoint on the road leading to Jabel al-Rahma neighborhood.
55-year-old Mohamed suffered bruises and his car sustained material damage in the attack. The aggression also caused extreme panic among other members of the family who were in the car.
The family members were on their way to hospital when the settlers intercepted their car at gunpoint and assaulted them.
The eyewitnesses said that soldiers stood idly by watching the settlers as they were attacking the family.
In an earlier incident armed settlers stormed on Saturday evening the neighborhoods of Jabel al-Rahma and Tel Rumeida in al-Khalil city and threatened to expel Palestinian families from their homes.
They also brutalized local residents in these neighborhoods and obstructed their movement with the help of Israeli soldiers.
