A Palestinian girl was injured on Wednesday evening after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Ya’bad town in Jenin and clashed with local youths and resistance fighters.
According to local sources the IOF stormed the town intensified its presence in its streets intercepted cars and interrogated citizens.
The IOF also deployed snipers on rooftops of homes and stores in some areas of the town and placed barriers on its roads.
Meanwhile violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers in different areas of the town while resistance fighters opened fire and detonated explosive devices at the soldiers and their vehicles.
One Palestinian girl reportedly suffered a shrapnel injury inside her home and some houses sustained material damage when Israeli soldiers intensively fired live and rubber bullets during the events in the town.
