The Israeli occupation army demolished on Thursday a Palestinian house in Beit Jala town in western Bethlehem and dismantled mobile homes and tents belonging to families in the Jordan Valley at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers with a bulldozer stormed Bir Awna area in Beit Jala and knocked down a one-story house belonging to Maher Zarina.
This was the fifth time the Israeli army demolished a house belonging to the family of Zarina in the same area.
The Israeli army also demolished on the same day mobile homes and tents used as homes by Palestinian families living in Khirbet Umm al-Jimal area in the northern Jordan Valley.
