A Palestinian young man and a photojournalist were injured by Israeli gunfire as clashes erupted in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil at noon Friday.
Local activist Muhammad Awad affirmed that clashes broke out in Beit Ummar after it was stormed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) early today.
Two young men including the journalist Ihab Al-Alami were injured by IOF live fire during the clashes.
Dozens of people were also injured by rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas bombs during the clashes.
On the other hand the IOF arrested a Palestinian young man near Ya`bad town south of Jenin after brutally attacking him along with his wife.
