Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday razed 70 perennial olive trees to the east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
IOF soldiers destroyed 20-year-old olive trees belonging to the Palestinian citizen Yusuf Abayyat after storming the area of Khillat al-Qatan according to Hassan Breijeh director of the Bethlehem office of the Wall and Settlements Resistance Commission.
Earlier this June Israeli soldiers razed an archaeological site to the south of al-Khader town south of Bethlehem in favor of settlement expansion plans in Road 60.
Since the beginning of 2023 IOF soldiers and Jewish settlers have carried out more than 492 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their properties that led to injuring citizens confiscating their property and destroying their agricultural lands and trees.
