The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on Monday ordered 8 Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in preparation for their demolition in Masafer Yatta town south of al-Khalil City in the West Bank.
Activist Rateb Jabour said that IOA crews raided 8 Palestinian houses in Masafer Yatta and handed their residents demolition orders.
The Palestinian citizens in Masafer Yatta have been recently subjected to stepped up attacks and house demolition campaigns which fall in line with an Israeli policy to force them out of the area.
According to the National Committee Against the Wall and Settlement the IOA demolished 686 Palestinian buildings in 2019 300 of which were in Jerusalem.
