The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) said that five of its members were killed and 10 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a site near Lebanon’s border with Syria at dawn Wednesday.
In a brief statement PFLP-GC said that the Israeli airstrike targeted a position of its fighters in Beqaa area near the Syrian border.
It affirmed that “the attack that targeted its members in Lebanon was part of the open Zionist war against the Palestinian people.”
The PFLP-GC is a Palestinian resistance faction founded in 1968 by Ahmed Jibril which had broken off from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
