The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Wednesday evening and later at night a number of Palestinian citizens amid overnight clashes with local youths in different areas of the West Bank.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers assaulted two young men after forcing them to leave the car they were aboard at the Huwara checkpoint south of Nablus.
Eyewitnesses said that soldiers at the checkpoint brutalized and handcuffed the young men and then detained them behind concrete blocks in the area before forcing one of them to take off his clothes.
Two other West Bank young men from al-Am’ari refugee camp in Ramallah were taken prisoners by the IOF at the Jaba checkpoint northeast of Jerusalem.
The IOF also kidnaped two West Bank young men at the Za’tara checkpoint in southern Nablus and at the Allenby (Karama) border crossing with Jordan.
A father and his son were also kidnaped by the IOF from their home in Urif town southwest of Nablus amid raids on homes and clashes with local youths.
