A horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked on Thursday evening Dura al-Qari’a village in the north of Ramallah.
Head of the village council Samer Diyab said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit El escorted by soldiers infiltrated into al-Ayoun area of the village and set fire to swaths of agricultural land.
Soon later Israeli soldiers intervened and fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local residents who rushed to the area to fend off the settlers.
In recent days settlers living in illegal settlements intensified their terrorist attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in different West Bank areas.
