One Israeli was killed in a Palestinian shooting operation near the illegal settlement of Kedumim in the east West Bank city of Qalqilya on Thursday.
A settler was severely wounded after the Israeli occupation army confirmed reports of the shooting incident with some reports indicating he was a soldier.
Later Israeli medical sources confirmed the Israeli’s death.
The Hebrew media said that the gunman was shot dead at the scene but Haaretz website claimed that he managed to flee the scene after being shot by Israeli forces.
The identity of the Palestinian resistance fighter who carried out the operation is still unknown.
