The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) forced a Jerusalemite citizen to demolish two commercial stores belonging to him in Beit Hanina town northeast of the holy city on Monday at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
The owner Mohamed al-Julani said that he was forced to bulldoze his stores at his own expense after the Israeli municipality threatened to make him pay an exorbitant amount of money if its crews carried out the measure.
Meanwhile employees from the Israeli municipality and police officers assaulted Palestinian vendors in the streets of Salahuddin and Sultan Suleiman in Jerusalem and forced them to remove some of their merchandise.
