The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) notified the Al-Jalama and Arbouna Village Councils of the decision to seize 144 dunums of the two villages’ lands for alleged security reasons.
The head of the Al-Jalama Council Amjad Abu Farha said that the Council had received an Israeli military order stipulating the confiscation of 144 dunums of the al-Jalama and Arbouna lands which are located near an IOF checkpoint.
A local resident earlier received an Israeli order confiscating 600 square meters of his land in favor of establishing a new section of the apartheid wall.
