Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday arrested a Palestinian farmer and beat another after they tried to confront a Jewish settlers’ attack in Kafr ad-Dik town to the west of the West Bank city of Salfit.
Palestinian citizen Abdullah ad-Dik reported that IOF soldiers arrested his father Ahmad ad-Dik and beat his uncle Mahmoud ad-Dik while they were in their land in Khillat Abu Aqoul area.
He added that armed Jewish settlers had released their cattle into Palestinian land that belongs to his father and uncle.
Meanwhile Jewish settlers established a shepherding outpost on Palestinian lands in al-Mughayyir village to the north of Ramallah.
Coordinator of the Agricultural Committee in Al-Mughayyir Kazem al-Hajj Muhammad told Safa news agency that armed Jewish settlers set up tents in the eastern area of the village adding that they grazed their cows on Palestinian lands.
Al-Hajj Muhammad warned that settlers plan to stay in the area calling for organizing campaigns to defend the area against the settlers’ encroachment.
