New Israeli airstrikes were reported after midnight on Saturday in Syria’s Homs province injuring three civilians and causing material damage.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (S A N A) quoted a local military source as saying that Israeli warplanes fired a number of missiles from northern Lebanon at some sites in the vicinity of Homs City.
The military source added that the country’s air defenses respond to the airstrikes and managed to shoot down some missiles.
He also said that the new Israeli aggression resulted in the injury of three civilians and the burning of a gas station and a number of containers and trucks.
The Israeli occupation state has carried out dozens of strikes on alleged military targets inside government-controlled parts of Syria in recent years but rarely acknowledges its attacks.
