The Israeli occupation army carried out at dawn Sunday a renewed attack on an area near the Syrian capital Damascus a local media outlet reported.
According to al-Ikhbariyah Syria satellite channel Israeli missiles targeted some sites in the vicinity of Damascus City while the Syrian army said that its air defenses managed to intercept some of them.
No one was reportedly injured in the Israeli attack.
The Israeli army has carried out dozens of strikes on alleged military targets inside government-controlled areas of Syria in recent years but rarely acknowledges its attacks.
