Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas announced on Sunday evening that its fighters fired 20 rockets from southern Lebanon at the settlements of Shlomi and Nahariya in the north of 1948 occupied Palestine.
Later the Israeli occupation army admitted that rocket salvos had been fired at Nahariya injuring a number of Israeli residents.
Israeli medical sources said that eight wounded Israelis were rushed to Galilee Hospital in Nahariya adding that four of them suffer from serious injuries.
This was the second time Palestinian fighters from al-Qassam Brigades launched a volley of rockets from southern Lebanon towards the north of 1948 occupied Palestine (northern Israel) during the current round of fighting.
Three fighters from al-Qassam Brigades were killed by Israeli gunfire during two commando operations on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
