Member of Hamas’s political bureau Husam Badran has condemned the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services for arresting the ex-prisoner Amjad al-Sayeh calling for releasing him immediately.
In a press statement on Friday Badran said that al-Sayeh spent twenty years in Israeli jails stressing that arresting Palestinian ex-prisoners is a national crime that should be stopped.
Badran affirmed that the continued PA arrest campaigns launched against Palestinian ex-prisoners and resistance fighters require determined efforts from all the Palestinian factions to stop the policy of political arrest.
Earlier on Thursday the PA arrested the Palestinian ex-prisoner Amjad al-Sayeh from the West Bank city of Nablus.
