Two extremist Jewish settlers stormed on Wednesday the Orthodox Church on Mount Zion in Occupied Jerusalem and declared their intent to stay in the place.
Video footage circulated on social media showed two settlers inside the church compound sitting on a blanket in the church’s yard. They also brought some books and camping stuff with them.
The two settlers claimed that the holy site belonged to the Jewish people and started to verbally attack the church official who asked them to leave.
Settler attacks and violations against churches cemeteries and other Christian sites and buildings have become almost a daily occurrence in the occupied Palestinian territories especially in Jerusalem.
