The ministry of health in Gaza said on Thursday that Israel’s siege and attacks on the Gaza Strip put four hospitals out of service and partially damaged 25 others.
Director of Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital Iyad al-Jaabari said that the strategic stock of medicines and medical supplies in Gaza ran out as a result of the tight closure that the Israeli occupation army had imposed on Gaza since October 7.
Jaabari warned that the health situation in Gaza is extremely alarming and the lives of thousands of sick and wounded civilians are at risk pointing out that there is also a severe shortage of medical personnel.
He appealed to international and human rights organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation government to allow the entry of medicines and medical needs to Gaza.
